Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is the manipulation of soft tissues of the body including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints. Massage therapy is a evidence based healthcare option that helps alleviate the discomfort associated with every day occupational stresses, muscular over-use and many acute and chronic pain conditions.

As an accepted part of many preventative and physical rehabilitation programs, massage therapy has proven beneficial for many chronic conditions, including low back pain, sciatica, stress, anxiety, headaches, insomnia, tendonitis and sports related injuries. Whether your need is to have a moment of relaxation, reduce muscle tension or attain relief from chronic pain, a therapeutic massage can enhance your overall sense of emotional and physical well-being.

Massage Therapy is a Regulated Health Profession in Ontario and is covered by most extended health benefit plans.
