MY
STORY

I am wife to a marvelous gentle partner, over 25 years and counting, a mother to three children who are my greatest teachers and inspiration. I am the daughter of a loving and resilient lineage of mothers and fathers who immigrated to Canada from Poland in the 1960s, and friend to a beautiful community of people who I have had the privilege of finding locally in Waterloo and around the world.  Professionally, I am a Registered Massage Therapist with 25 years of experience in the field of body work and therapeutic movement. I have an Honors degree from the University of Waterloo in Religious Studies with a specialty in Eastern Spirituality and the Roman Catholic female mystical tradition. This academic experience has played an integral role in my therapeutic and movement based practices.

Studying, teaching yoga, religion and spirituality have been a passion for me for the past 30 years.

I have been teaching at festivals, retreats, various yoga studios, and host events throughout Ontario and internationally.  I lead yoga and meditation classes here in Waterloo Region.

If you feel inspired, please ask me any questions and come and join me in class.

I invite you to come, connect, explore and experiment more with your human experience and continue in your journey of self discovery.

All the love,
Kasia

MY
VISION

Come feel the energy, build community and experience the difference.  As a teacher i curate an experience infused with all the practices I have worked with over the years. Yoga based practices such as hatha,  bhakti, ashtanga, and kundalini.  I pull in poetry, music, meditation, readings from various cross cultural and world teachers and visionaries.  As a former fitness instructor, dancer and as a Registered Massage Therapist since 1999 I have always had an interest in how the body moves and what makes it feel good.  This leads me to continuously researching and exploring topics such as bio mechanics, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, functional movement patterns, exercise science and bodywork.  My goal is to synthesize all this information into a practical, functional, creative, emotive and heartfelt experience in the classes I teach.

Movement based, embodiment practices, meditation and sound continue to be a source of strength and an important tool for my own personal growth and transformation. I love sharing what I have learned over the years and have been passionately teaching and practicing here in Waterloo Region for the past 25 years.

I invite you to come and find what you have been searching for. Through movement, music, meditation, and breath work, we can work through the things in our lives, connect to our life fore, realize our purpose however big or small, find peace and community!

“Humanity take a good look at yourself. Inside, you’ve got heaven and earth, and all creation. You are a world…everything is hidden in you.”

Hildegard of Bingen

The vision is to create an inclusive and welcoming environment in which to come together, be moved and move.

One of the beauties of how I teach is that all are welcome. This is not a leveled system of yoga. Beginners and long time students share class space together.  My classes are purposely intended to be a space where we are all held, supported, and encouraged to be our best selves and do our best from where we are at. The mission is to uplift ourselves and each other.
